Boil a pot of salted water in a pot on the stovetop. Cook farfalle until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain the pasta and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
Transfer pasta to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning. Stir to coat the pieces evenly.
Air fryer directions:
Spread the pasta out in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes on 400°F (200°C). Flip over and continue cooking for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until crispy and golden. Allow to cool before serving.
Oven directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F(190°C). Spread the cooked pasta out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Cook the pasta a little more than al dente, about 8 minutes.
Drain the pasta well and let it sit for 5 minutes to cool and dry.
Remove the chips as soon as they start to get golden in color.
