Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic freshly pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • Prepared crostini for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cross hatch the top of your brie and place it in an oven-safe baking dish.
  • Melt the butter and add the garlic. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the butter over the top of the brie. Place it in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until it’s gooey in the middle.
  • Garnish with thyme. Serve hot with crostini or sliced baguette.

Notes

  • Opt for a whole wheel of brie with the rind intact to hold its shape while baking and create the perfect gooey center.
  • Use fresh garlic and gently melt the butter to infuse it fully without browning.
  • Baked brie is best enjoyed straight out of the oven while the cheese is warm and runny—have your crostini ready!
