Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos paprika, and black sesame seeds
  • 12 pretzel sticks snapped in half
  • 24 leaves fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • Assorted crackers for serving

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic and onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Cover and chill for at least an hour.
  • Divide the cheese into small balls (about ping pong ball sized).
  • On 3 separate plates, arrange the crushed Doritos, paprika, and black sesame seeds.
  • Roll each ball in a coating and set aside.
  • To make the balls look like pumpkins, use a chopstick to press ridges into the sides of the balls, 4 or 5 times, evenly around the outside.
  • Stick half a pretzel stick in the top of each for the stems. Add a small leaf of parsley for garnish.
  • Refrigerate until you’re ready to serve with assorted crackers.
