Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Lit'l Smokies or cocktail sausages, 12 ounces
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent dough 8 ounces
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove crescent rolls from the package and separate them into 8 triangles. Use a sharp knife or pizza wheel to cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles, for 24 pieces.
  • Place a sausage on the wide end. Then starting at the wide end, roll the dough. Place them on the baking sheet.
  • Beat the egg with the water in a small bowl. Brush it onto the tops of the rolls.
  • Sprinkle the tops with sesame seeds.
  • Bake until the dough is puffed and golden brown, 13 to 15 minutes. Serve warm with mustard, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauce.
