Festive Christmas Charcuterie Board
A charcuterie board is always a crowd-pleaser, but during the holidays it can become the highlight of your table. This Festive Christmas Charcuterie Board combines classic cheeses and cured meats with seasonal touches like fresh herbs, jewel-toned fruits, and a few holiday sweets for balance. It is simple to put together, yet it feels special and makes the perfect centerpiece for cozy gatherings, Christmas parties, or a relaxed night in with friends and family.

What to Include on a Charcuterie Board
I like to make sure there are items from a few categories—cheese, cured meats, fruit, savory, nuts, and crackers.
This board includes:
- 3 different cheese: cheddar, gouda and cubed feta cheese
- 2 cured meats: salami and prosciutto
- Crackers
- Green olives
- Almonds, walnuts, dried cranberries
- Marinated artichokes
You’ll want to include 2-3 types of each item, so guests have options to choose from. This also helps diversify the board and makes it visually appealing.
Here are a few other options that I haven’t included, but that make a great addition of a charcuterie board:
- Sauces and dips, like honey, jelly/jam, mustard, creamy dressing.
- Fruits like pomegranate pieces, apple slices, dried fruits, and grapes.
- A couple types of crackers, baguette slices, and cucumber slices (in case any guests are eating low-carb).

Helpful Tips
- Incorporate seasonal colors and flavors: Use red and green elements like cranberries, pomegranate seeds, rosemary sprigs, and festive cookies to bring holiday cheer.
- Offer a variety of textures: Include a mix of creamy cheeses, crunchy crackers, cured meats, and fresh fruits to keep it interesting for every palate.
- Arrange with balance in mind: Place larger items first, like cheese wedges and bowls of dips, then fill in with smaller elements like nuts and fruits for a cohesive look.
