Honey BBQ Riblets
These Honey BBQ Riblets are a mouthwatering appetizer that combines the perfect balance of sweetness and smokiness. The tender, juicy riblets are coated in a luscious honey barbecue sauce that caramelizes beautifully as they cook, creating a sticky glaze that’s simply irresistible.

Ribs are a great go-to for any outdoor party, but these riblets are even better because they’re small enough that guests can enjoy other food items without too much food. They’re boneless too, so they’re very easy to eat.
Helpful Tips
- Choose Quality Riblets: For the best flavor and tenderness, opt for high-quality pork riblets. Look for riblets that have a good amount of meat on them and a nice marbling of fat, as this will enhance the taste and juiciness of the finished dish. If you can, visit a local butcher for the freshest options.
- Make Your Own BBQ Sauce: While store-bought honey BBQ sauce is convenient, making your own allows you to customize the flavors to your liking. Combine honey, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and your favorite spices to create a unique sauce that perfectly complements your riblets.
- Use a Meat Thermometer: To ensure your riblets are perfectly cooked, consider using a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should reach at least 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption, but for tender, fall-off-the-bone riblets, aim for around 190°F (88°C). This ensures the collagen breaks down, resulting in a more tender texture.
