Halloween Hummus (2 Ways)

This Halloween Hummus (2 Ways) turns a classic dip into a spooky-season showstopper without much extra effort. Two bowls of creamy hummus, one deep orange with pumpkin and one striking jet black, sitting side by side is the kind of party trick that makes people reach for their phones before their crackers.

Halloween hummus

It’s a fun way to add a festive touch to a Halloween spread that still feels like real food, not just candy. Best of all, both hummus varieties come together with zero cooking, so you can have this whole spooky duo ready in about 15 minutes. Serve them together with crackers or veggies and let your guests pick their side.

Helpful Tips

  • Blend until fully smooth: Give both hummus mixtures plenty of time in the food processor, since a slightly grainy texture is much more noticeable in these bold colors.
  • Adjust with water gradually: Add water a small splash at a time while blending, since it’s easy to over-thin the hummus and much harder to thicken it back up.
  • Keep the color contrast sharp: Serving the pumpkin hummus in a black bowl and the black hummus in an orange bowl makes the Halloween effect really pop, so don’t skip the presentation.
