Why You’ll Love It
- Crunchy Exterior: Experience the satisfying crunch of a perfectly toasted tortilla shell, thanks to the magic of the air fryer, which crisps up the wrap to perfection without the need for excess oil.
- Customizable Fillings: Enjoy the freedom to customize your crunch wrap with your favorite ingredients, from seasoned ground meat or tofu to a variety of veggies, cheese, and sauces, allowing you to create a personalized flavor experience every time.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Ground beef – Use a lean version so you don’t have to drain out a lot of fat. I usually use a 90/10.
- Taco seasoning – You can use a packet from the store or try making your own with this recipe.
- Flour tortillas – 10-12-inch tortillas work best here. Look for the burrito flour tortillas, they tend to be larger.
- Refried beans – To make the refried beans, you can follow this homemade version, or you can buy canned refried beans or black beans.
- Tostada shells – These are made from small corn tortillas.
- Sour cream
- Shredded cheese – You can really use any other type of melting cheese, but I prefer to use cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a Mexican cheese blend.
- Shredded lettuce
- Tomato – Diced

Equipment Information
- Air fryer: I use the 5.5-quart Ninja MaxXL basket-style air fryer. Angie uses this 5-quart Cosori Pro LE air fryer. We also both occasionally use the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill that has an air fryer setting.
- Kitchen tongs: It’s very easy to remove food from your air fryer with kitchen tongs. I use these kitchen tongs that are silicon coated so they don’t scratch the interior.
Stovetop Directions
Follow directions 1-6 below.
