Bold & Tangy BBQ Meatballs
Bold & Tangy BBQ Meatballs are a quick way to turn store-bought meatballs into something way more exciting. The sauce is sweet, tangy, and just spicy enough to wake things up. Perfect for parties, game day spreads, or an easy weeknight appetizer.

You only need about 5 minutes to pull this together. Everything simmers in one pan, and you can even toss it in the slow cooker if you’re prepping ahead. The sauce hits every note, the ketchup brings the base, soy sauce and Worcestershire give it depth, vinegar and red pepper flakes add zip, and a little brown sugar balances it all out.
Helpful Tips
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor, but garlic powder works in a pinch.
- If you’re using frozen meatballs, let them thaw a bit before cooking to reduce the simmer time.
- Want it spicier? Add extra red pepper flakes or a splash of hot sauce.
