Bloodshot eye cheeseball

It takes only 15 minutes of hands-on work, and there’s zero cooking involved, which makes it one of the easiest showstoppers you can bring to a Halloween gathering. Serve it up with a big pile of crackers and watch it disappear before the trick-or-treaters even show up.

Helpful Tips

  • Soften the cream cheese fully: Letting it come to room temperature first makes it much easier to mix smoothly with the ranch seasoning and shredded cheese.
  • Chill before shaping details: Giving the cheese ball 1-2 hours in the fridge firms it up enough to hold its shape and makes adding the eyeball decorations much easier.
  • Go slow with the sriracha: Draw the blood-shot veins a little at a time, since it’s easier to add more than to fix an overly saturated eyeball.
