Helpful Tips

  • Choose the Right Jalapeños: When selecting jalapeños, look for firm peppers that are bright green and free of blemishes. You can remove the seeds and membranes from the peppers to further reduce the spiciness.
  • Use Shredded Rotisserie Chicken: For a quick and flavorful filling, consider using shredded rotisserie chicken. It saves time and adds a depth of flavor that pairs perfectly with the buffalo sauce.
  • Bake for Optimal Texture: To achieve the best texture, bake the stuffed jalapeños until they are golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.

Notes

  • Look for peppers that are firm with no visible scrapes or gashes and all about the same size.
  • If you want to lower the spice level remove all of the seeds and membrane from the inside of the jalapenos. If you want them with more spice leave some in.
  • Avoid overcooking the peppers; they should be soft enough to eat easily but still hold their shape.
