Helpful Tips
- Choose the right pasta – Short, sturdy shapes like rigatoni, farfalle, or penne work best since they hold up well during cooking and crisp evenly.
- Dry the pasta well – After boiling, make sure to pat the pasta dry with a paper towel before seasoning. This helps the oil and seasoning stick better and ensures maximum crispiness.
- Don’t overcrowd while cooking – Whether air frying or baking, cook the pasta in a single layer to allow for even air circulation. Shaking the basket halfway through will also help achieve that perfect crunch.
