These Everything Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs combine the creamy richness of deviled eggs with the savory goodness of smoked salmon and the irresistible crunch of Everything Bagel seasoning.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs older eggs are better than fresher eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 ounces smoked salmon
- 2 tablespoons Everything Bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Add eggs to a large pot and cover with water to 2” above the eggs. Bring to a boil
- Once boiling, cover the pot and turn off heat. Allow it to sit for 12 minutes.
- Drain and place the eggs in cold water. Peel as soon as they are cooled.
- Slice eggs in half horizontally and remove yolks.
- Roll the egg whites in Everything Bagel seasoning and set them on a plate.
- In a food processor or mini chopper, combine the yolks with mayonnaise and mustard. Blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Add yolk mixture to a piping bag with a star tip. Fill each egg with yolk mixture.
- Garnish the eggs with a strip of rolled smoked salmon and additional Everything Bagel seasoning.

I know this sounds like an odd question, but I am confused. The picture looks like the eggs are little cups would mean vertical to me. I think of horizontal as cut side ways and the eggs look more like little canoes. Then again, the yolks of these eggs were perfectly centered. Depending on which way the egg is facing could mean the difference?
