The best part? It comes together quickly and looks impressive without any fuss. If you’re looking for a holiday dessert that’s equal parts cute and easy, this one delivers. Everyone gets a kick out of the melted snowman look, and it’s a great way to use up extra candy or sprinkles you have on hand.

Helpful Tips

  • Use good-quality white chocolate: It melts smoother and tastes better than white baking chips or candy melts.
  • Prep your toppings ahead of time: Have the mini peanut butter cups, candy eyes, and sprinkles ready to go so you can decorate before the chocolate sets.
  • Break it into pieces once fully set: Let the bark cool and harden completely before breaking it up to keep the designs intact.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces white chocolate wafers
  • 6 mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • 12 Wilton candy eyes
  • Orange jimmies sprinkles
  • 18 red candies or Red Hots
  • 6 pretzel sticks

Instructions

  • Start by cutting the cups in half so you have two equal sides. Then cut the wide brim off (about 1/3 of the cup). To make it look like a hat, fit the pieces back together, offset a slight bit.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
  • To melt the chocolate, place the wafers in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir it. Continue cooking in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until it’s mostly melted. Then remove it from the microwave and stir the chocolate until it’s completely smooth. If you microwave it until it’s fully melted, you risk burning it.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into 6 puddles on the baking sheet and, working quickly, spread it out with the back of a spoon. Quickly top each with a hat, eyes, nose, and buttons. Set the decorations on in varying patterns so they don’t all look the same.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool and firm up for at least 1 hour. You can put them in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
