Mini Apple Tarts
These Mini Apple Tarts are buttery and topped with a golden cinnamon crumble, these little tarts pack all the coziness of a full apple pie into two bites. They are the perfect solution when you’re craving pie but don’t want the hassle of rolling out a full crust and slicing servings.

They’re small enough to pop in your hand but satisfying enough to feel like a real dessert, which makes them ideal for a party spread or a cozy night in. Best of all, they bake up in about 20 minutes, so you can have a fresh batch ready before the oven even fully preheats your kitchen.
Helpful Tips
- Press the dough evenly up the sides: Take a moment to make sure the crust comes up the sides of each muffin cup uniformly, since thin spots can tear or burn while the thicker areas stay doughy.
- Chill the crust before filling: Popping the tin in the fridge while you prep the filling and topping helps the dough firm back up, which keeps the crust from slumping down as it bakes.
- Don’t overfill the cups: Stick to about a tablespoon of apple filling per tart so the topping stays visible and the filling doesn’t bubble over the edges as it bakes.
