Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 small green pepper finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns toasted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Cook the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat. Crumble it as it cooks. Remove any excess grease.
  • Add all remaining ingredients (except for shredded cheese and buns) and stir well to combine.
  • Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom connected. Toast the buns (I do this while they’re all still connected). Place the bottom buns on a serving platter. Spread on the meat mixture. Then top with the shredded cheese and the top buns. Serve hot.
