Goat Cheese & Herb Christmas Tree Appetizer
Looking for a festive appetizer that’s just as beautiful as it is tasty? This Goat Cheese & Herb Christmas Tree Appetizer is the perfect addition to your holiday table. Creamy goat cheese gets blended with fresh herbs, then shaped into a tree and decorated with colorful toppings for a centerpiece that doubles as a snack.

This is one of those recipes that looks impressive but comes together with very little effort. The tangy goat cheese pairs perfectly with herbs and crackers, and the tree shape makes it a showstopper for Christmas parties. Plus, you can customize the “decorations” with whatever you have on hand—pomegranate seeds, chopped peppers, or fresh herbs all add festive flair.
Helpful Tips
- Soften the cheese first. Let the goat cheese sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes so it’s easier to shape.
- Use cling wrap. Place the cheese mixture on plastic wrap and mold it into a tree shape before transferring it to a platter.
- Decorate just before serving. Add your toppings last so they stay fresh and vibrant on the table.
