Banana chips

One of my family’s favorite snacks to make in the air fryer are these banana chips. If you haven’t had them yet, you’re in for a treat. They’re so easy to make in the air fryer and you can pop a few in your mouth whenever you’re feeling a little hungry or want a sweet snack.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Crispy perfection: The controlled cooking environment ensures that each chip is evenly cooked, providing a satisfying crunch in every bite.
  • Versatile: Perfect for snacking or sprinkle them on yogurt, add them to your morning cereal, or use them as a topping for desserts. The possibilities are endless!
  • Better than store-bought: With minimal added ingredients and no deep frying, you can indulge in a crunchy treat without compromising your health goals.

Helpful Tips

  • To ensure even cooking, slice the bananas uniformly. This not only improves the way they look but also guarantees consistent crispiness.
  • Experiment with the thickness of the banana slices. Thinner slices result in a crispier texture, while slightly thicker slices can provide a chewier bite.
  • Using lemon juice to stop the banana chips from turning brown will give them a slight lemon flavor. If you air fry the bananas as soon as you cut them you don’t need to use the lemon juice.
