skull lasagna dip

It comes together with mostly pantry staples in under 30 minutes, so it’s an easy addition to any Halloween spread without much extra effort. Whether you serve it in a simple dip bowl or go all out with a skull bowl, it’s guaranteed to be the centerpiece everyone gathers around. Pair it with crusty bread or breadsticks for easy scooping.

Helpful Tips

  • Don’t stir in the ricotta: Dropping spoonfuls on top instead of mixing it in gives you those classic pockets of creamy cheese throughout the dip.
  • Cook the macaroni al dente: Since it finishes cooking a bit more once combined with the hot sauce, slightly undercooking it keeps the pasta from turning mushy.
  • Let the sauce simmer fully: Giving the sauce its full 5 minutes helps the flavors deepen and the onions and garlic fully mellow into the dish.
