Mini hot dogs

The bite-sized format makes them irresistible for both kids and adults, and setting up a topping bar means every guest can build their own perfect version. They’re endlessly customizable, whether you keep it classic with ketchup and mustard or go all out with crispy onions and relish.

Helpful Tips

  • Fold the buns before serving: Folding each slider bun in half and nestling it into the tray keeps it in a wedge shape, so the sausage stays snug instead of sliding right out.
  • Don’t overheat the sausages: Lit’l Smokies are fully cooked, so you only need 4-5 minutes to warm them through. Overcooking can dry them out and make the casings tough.
  • Set up a topping station: Laying out condiments in small bowls with spoons lets guests build their own hot dogs quickly, which keeps the line moving at a party.
