Christmas Pretzel Wreaths

What makes these so great is how quick and kid-friendly they are. You don’t need any baking skills to pull them off, and everyone can get creative with the decorations. They add a cheerful pop of color to any holiday spread and are the kind of treat that disappears fast.

Helpful Tips

  • Use ring-shaped pretzels. Mini pretzel rings or twists work best for building a wreath shape.
  • Candy melts for color. Green candy melts or white chocolate tinted with food coloring give you that classic wreath look.
  • Decorate before they set. Add sprinkles, mini M&Ms, or candy bows right after dipping so they stick.

Equipment

  • 1 Red Ribbon optional

Ingredients

  • 1 bag pretzels
  • 1 bag green chocolate wafers
  • ½ cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  • Spread the pretzels out in a circle, with the loops facing outward, in a double layer.
  • Melt the chocolate wafers in a bowl in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until mostly melted, then stir continuously until fully melted (so as not to burn the chocolate).
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the inside half of the pretzels, all the way around in one continuous pour. Immediately sprinkle on the Christmas sprinkles, so they stick to the chocolate.
  • Add a ribbon or bow to the top of the “wreath”.
