Grilled to perfection, these skewers boast a delightful char that enhances their taste and texture. Plus, they’re incredibly easy to prepare, making them an ideal choice for a barbecue. Serve them as an appetizer or main dish.

Helpful Tips

  1. Marinate for Maximum Flavor: For the best results, allow the chicken to marinate in the bourbon sauce for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight. This will ensure the flavors penetrate the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and tender skewer.
  2. Use Soaked Wooden Skewers: If you’re using wooden skewers, be sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling. This prevents them from burning on the grill and helps keep your skewers intact while cooking.
  3. Don’t Overcook: Keep a close eye on the skewers while they’re grilling. Chicken cooks quickly, and overcooking can lead to dry meat. Aim for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for perfectly juicy chicken skewers.
