Chocolate Covered Apple Slices
If you’re looking for an easy treat that feels just the right amount of indulgent, chocolate covered apple slices are it. They’re crisp, sweet, and coated in melted chocolate with endless topping options—from chopped nuts to crushed cookies to a drizzle of caramel. Whether you’re making them for a party or a fun snack, they always go quick.

You’ll love how fast these come together. Just slice, dip, and decorate. It’s a no-bake, minimal-effort kind of recipe that’s easy to make ahead and fun for kids and adults to customize. Use your favorite kind of apple and whatever chocolate you’re into—dark, milk, or white all work.
Helpful Tips
- Pat the slices dry. After slicing your apples, blot them with a paper towel so the chocolate sticks better.
- Use candy sticks or skewers. Inserting a stick into each slice makes them easier (and less messy) to dip and eat. These are the ones I used.
- Let them chill. Once dipped and decorated, pop them in the fridge for 15–20 minutes so the chocolate sets cleanly.

Ingredients
- 3 medium apples sliced
- 5 ounces chocolate wafers
- Toppings of your choice (walnuts, sprinkles, candies)
Instructions
- Slice the apples about 1/2" thick. Remove any seeds. Pat the slices dry.
- Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave safe bowl at 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until mostly melted. Stir rapidly until fully melted.
- Dip the apples in the chocolate and place them on a piece of parchment paper. If you can't dip them, you can spoon the chocolate over the slices and smooth it out. Dip one or both sides, depending on your preference.
- Quickly add the toppings you like, before the chocolate hardens.
- Let rest for 20 minutes before consuming, so they can firm up.
