Valentine’s Day Toast Board to Share With Your Family
This Valentine’s Day Toast Board is a fun and easy way to celebrate with your family without making a full brunch. Pile a big board with toasted bread, spreads, and colorful toppings so everyone can build their own sweet or savory toast. It’s simple to put together and turns breakfast or snack time into something a little more special.

It’s low-effort but looks impressive, and it works with whatever ingredients you already have on hand. Kids will love choosing their toppings and making their own creations, and adults can customize theirs too. Whether you’re starting the day with it or serving it as an afternoon snack, it’s a cozy way to celebrate together.
Helpful Tips
- Add a splash of color: Include plenty of red fruits, like strawberries, raspberries or pomegranate arils for added vibrancy.
- Kid-friendly touches: If you’re making this board with kids in mind, you might want to add some sprinkles or mini marshmallows to make it even more fun for kids.
- Upgrade the cream cheese: I like to serve whipped cream cheese because it’s very easy to spread on the toast. You can upgrade it with a bit of honey or a splash of vanilla extract.
- Butter at room temperature: It’s best to cut the heart-shaped butter when it’s still firm, then let it sit out for a few hours to get soft and spreadable.
- Choose your bread: I like to serve brioche bread. It’s already a bit sweet and it still tastes really good even when it’s not hot.
