chicken and waffle sliders

Chicken & Waffle Sliders are the perfect mix of crunchy, fluffy, salty, and sweet. You get the crispy fried (or air-fried) chicken, a soft waffle that soaks up the buttery syrup, and the option to add extra toppings like spicy honey or bacon for even more flavor.

Helpful Tips

  • Use Homemade or Frozen Waffles – If you have time, homemade waffles add extra flavor. But if you’re short on time, frozen mini waffles work great—just toast them until golden and crispy.
  • Use Homemade or Frozen Chicken – You don’t have to put the effort into making your own fried chicken. You can also buy frozen breaded chicken. But get a quality brand!
  • Air Fry for a Healthier Twist – If you want a lighter version, skip the deep frying and air fry the chicken. It still gets crispy but without all the oil.
  • Serve with Dipping Sauces – These sliders pair perfectly with spicy honey, maple butter, or even a little sriracha mayo for a fun flavor boost.
