Topped with sautéed steak, onions, and peppers, all smothered in gooey melted cheese, these loaded fries are sure to become a new favorite in your household.

I’m a big fan of Philly Cheesesteaks and order them whenever possible, preferably while in Philadephia at Pat’s or Gino’s. This has led me to make all kinds of different Philly Cheesesteak-style meals, and I have to say these fries are one of my top favorites.
Cheez Whiz isn’t exactly “good” for you, but it won’t hurt once in a while. If you’d rather use a different type of nacho cheese, that’s fine too. These are like nachos, so you need a cheese that can be drizzled over the top.
Helpful Tips
- Choose the Right Cut of Steak: For the best flavor and tenderness, opt for cuts like ribeye or sirloin. Thinly slice the steak against the grain to ensure it remains juicy and easy to chew.
- Preheat Your Oven or Air Fryer: If you’re making fries from scratch, preheat your oven or air fryer to get them extra crispy. A high temperature will help achieve that perfect golden-brown finish.
- Season Your Fries: Before baking or frying, toss your fries in olive oil and season them with salt, pepper, and any other favorite spices. This will enhance their flavor and complement the toppings.
