Meatball Garlic Bread Skewers
These Garlic Bread Meatball Skewers are a crowd-pleasing appetizer that combine the irresistible flavors of garlic bread with savory meatballs. They are easy to make and fun to eat, so we find ourselves making them for all occasions.
The combination of juicy meatballs, crispy garlic bread, and a sprinkle of fresh herbs creates an appetizer very similar to a meatball sub, in skewer form. Dip it in marinara sauce to give it the extra punch of flavor that it needs.

These can be made very easily with pre-made meatballs and pizza dough, or you can make all your own components. The decision is up to you!
Helpful Tips
- Use Quality Ingredients: The flavor of your meatballs and garlic bread will greatly impact the final dish. Opt for fresh herbs, high-quality ground meat, and fresh garlic. Fresh ingredients enhance the taste and make a noticeable difference.
- Don’t Overcrowd the Skewers: When assembling your skewers, be mindful not to overcrowd them. We like to add just 2 meatballs and use half of a breadstick to intertwine it. Any more than that and it gets to cumbersome.
- Keep it Easy: For the easiest possible assembly, buy pre-cooked meatballs, a can of breadsticks, and a jar of marinara. These conveniences make this a very easy appetizer to put together.
